My name's John Hatton. Some call me 'Spazz', Brian Setzer calls me 'Johnny'. Here's a shot of me on stage with BSO somewhere in Japan with my awesome (serial # 4) Sparkle King from my buddy, Jason Burns at King Double Bass. The bass I used to record Brian's two Christmas CDs and the trio CD, "Nitro Burnin' Funny Daddy" was a Hornsteiner, about 100 years old, with steel strings using a huge old RCA mic placed about two feet in front of the bass. I also play bass guitar, but would much rather play ANY and ALL styles of music on a string bass because there's nothing like POWER!
