Hi Rock-a-Billy friends!
My name is Rob op't Ende. I'm Bass-player of the band "Phil Friendly and the Loners". We are from Schiedam and Vlaardingen in the Netherlands. I used to be an electric bass-player. But recently I started to play Double Bass Rock-a-Billy, and that's a lot of fun ! I've got a Czech "STRUNAL" bass, with a K&K Bass Master RB Plus Pickup. I've got various amplifiing equipment, depending the place we play; SWR, Trace Elliot, Gallien & Krueger. We recently played at the "The 2nd Czech Rumble" festival together with Wild Bob Burgos and Mal Clint (see picture) and many other Rock'n'Roll legends. And in the near future, we have some exiting gig and festivals coming up all over Europe. I enjoy the Rockabillybass-site very much ! I learned quite some things, and if possible, I will visit the site daily !
